Stay IRS-compliant, get your stamped Schedule 1 fast, and keep your trucks registered and rolling.

What is Form 2290?

Form 2290 is the Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax Return required by the IRS for vehicles with a taxable gross weight of 55,000 pounds or more that operate on public highways. The tax period runs from July 1 to June 30 each year, and the deadline for vehicles in service in July is the following August 31. Filing on time gets you a stamped Schedule 1, which is required to register your vehicles with the state.

The stamped Schedule 1 includes an official IRS watermark and is your proof of payment. You'll need it to register your vehicles at the DMV, renew your IRP plates, and clear weigh stations.
